AGREEMENT TO TERMS
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rivet Profile App operated by Rivet ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service at https://me.rivetconnect.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
The Rivet Profile App provides:
- Personality-based matching within your organization
- Professional profile creation and management
- Connection discovery and collaboration
- Calendar integration for scheduling (currently supporting Google Calendar)
- Organization-based team features
- Additional features and integrations as we continue to develop the Service
We continuously improve and expand our Service features. Some features may have limited functionality or be in various stages of deployment. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
USER ACCOUNTS
To use our Service, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- Be an authorized employee or representative of your organization
- Use the Service for business purposes only
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You may NOT:
- Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
- Harass, abuse, or harm another user
- Use the Service for any commercial purposes without our written consent
- Collect or harvest any information from the Service without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our Service may integrate with third-party services, including:
Google Calendar: For scheduling and calendar integration
AWS Services: For authentication and data storage
Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.
Google API Services: Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
USER CONTENT
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with providing the Service.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to your User Content
- Your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights
- Your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Rivet and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks may not be used without our prior written consent.
PRIVACY
Your use of our Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs the Site and informs users of our data collection practices.
TERMINATION
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may discontinue using the Service and contact us at tyler@codedidit.com.
All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
DISCLAIMERS
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
- The quality of the Service will meet your expectations
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected
You use the Service at your own risk. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rivet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rivet and its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware for any disputes arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other means. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rivet regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements between you and us relating to the Service.
